A) Installation module
Go to your your Back-Office and open module section.
Then click on the button “Add new module”
Choose the file on your computer boninstagramcarousel.zip and upload the module to your shop.
B) Backoffice Setting
The module contains extensive and at the same time simple configurations.
After the successful installation of the module, the following fields and settings can be observed in the module configurations:
Detailed analysis of each "Settings Instagram" parameter. The "Access Token" field is required and is responsible for connecting to the Instagram API and then displaying images. There are two buttons next to the field, the button "How to get a token?" leads to a page with instructions for obtaining a token, the second button "Refresh Token" renews the token, since it is given for 60 days, after which it is necessary to renew the token.
The "Enable Instagram Feed" option is responsible for displaying the module in the front office. The value "Yes" displays the module, "No" - the opposite.
The "Activate image caching" option activates image caching. If set to "Yes", the images will be cached for a period of 1 day and updated after a day has passed, which will help not to access the API every time the site is loaded, but also if an image is added to the profile, it will only be displayed after a day. If set to "No", images will be loaded every time the site is loaded, which will allow even newly added images to be displayed, but will affect loading speed.
The "Display item" field is responsible for the total number of images displayed in front-office.
The option "Display username on hover" if set to "Yes" will, when hovering over the image, display the username to which the token is linked.
The "Display post creation date on hover" option activates, when hovering over an image, the display of the creation date of the post from which the image is taken.
The "Show instagram icon on hover" option, if set to "Yes", activates the display of the Instagram icon when hovering over the image.
